Project Description
Canoe Chairs.
Made from oak with woven seat and back. Pinned mortise and tenon joints for the legs and runners. Finished with marine varnish.
Tell us how you used the PantoRouter in this project
All mortise and tenon joints done with the PantoRouter. The only tricky joints were the angled mortises for the curved upper seat cross piece.
Special Materials or Equipment Used
I also used a table saw, radial saw, scroll saw, drill press and orbital sander. Plastic cane was used for weaving the chair seat and back so that it is waterproof.
