PantoRouter named in Popular Woodworking’s 2021 Editor’s Choice Tools

Oregon-based joinery machine makes the list for the first time

December 13, 2021 (Oregon City, Oregon)– The team at PantoRouter™ is thrilled to be named in Popular Woodworking’s 2021 Editor’s Choice Tools.

While recognizing the PantoRouter for its overall versatility, strength, and efficiency, Editor-in-Chief Logan Wittmer’s feature emphasizes the quality and usability of the precision woodworking joinery machine.

The PantoRouter allows woodworkers to make sophisticated and precise woodworking joinery for furniture and cabinets. Before introducing the PantoRouter, mortise, and tenons, box joints and dovetails were typically hand-made or made by larger and more expensive machinery or using jigs more difficult to set up and operate. The PantoRouter is the only tool of its kind in the woodworking industry.

“If a tool has the ability to perform multiple functions, the odds of it earning a spot in my small shop goes up. The PantoRouter is one of those,” Wittmer wrote in the piece. “The machine itself is one of the better-built pieces of equipment that I have used in a long time, and has one of the most robust assembly and how-to manuals around.”

“A lot of time and thought has gone into the design of the PantoRouter,” said Mac Sheldon, President of Woodcraft, LLC. “We wanted to provide woodworkers with a simple but versatile tool that helped them build projects easily and effectively and we are excited to be recognized as a Popular Woodworking Editor’s Choice.”

The PantoRouter is a precision woodworking joinery machine with a strong market share and excellent reputation among artisan furniture builders, serious hobbyists, and high school woodworking programs.
